In our introduction to this series, we defined Emotional Intelligence (EQ) as the ability to interact effectively with other human beings. We noted that EQ is a far greater predictor of successful leaders than IQ. Finally, we described EQ as the combination of Internal Competencies (what you know, believe and do in regard to your own emotions) and External Competencies (what you know, what you believe and how you behave in relation to the emotions of others).

Dave “The Gratitude Dude” Linn doesn’t just “believe” that ordinary people can change the world, he KNOWS it. As an Executive & Company Culture Coach, Dave has guided hundreds of leaders to create and foster flourishing company cultures– places that people come to work because they want to, not because they have to.
